OpsNow FinOps Plus Now Officially Available in Korea Region

OpsNow FinOps Plus is now officially available in the Korea (KR) region.

With this update, Korean customers can fully access the same automated cloud cost optimization features within a domestic region environment.

The service also enhances infrastructure performance in terms of data sovereignty and response latency.

OpsNow FinOps Now Supports Budget Management

We are excited to announce the official release of the Budget Management feature in OpsNow FinOps,
designed to help organizations plan, monitor, and optimize cloud spending more effectively.

With this release, users can now set budget targets and continuously compare them against actual and forecasted usage,
empowering teams to prevent overages and ensure financial control across cloud environments.

    Organize and manage budgets by project, account, or service group for detailed financial tracking.
  • Support for Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Budgets
    Build cloud budget plans aligned with your organization’s financial cycle.
  • Real-Time Comparison Against Actual and Forecasted Costs
    Visualize budget consumption with charts showing usage, forecast, overrun, and shortfall trends.
  • Alert Notifications for Overrun and Underspend
    Set custom thresholds to receive alerts via Email, Slack, MS Teams, or Webhook channels.

    Access historical trends, alert trigger logs, and detailed budget configurations in one place.

Improved Chart Visualization for Right Sizing (Resources > Optimization)

To help users better understand and act on cloud optimization opportunities,
OpsNow FinOps has released an enhanced chart visualization experience for the Right Sizing view under Resources > Optimization.

This update improves the clarity and interactivity of the resource recommendation breakdown, allowing users to quickly identify which instances can be downsized, modernized, or are underutilized.

Key Improvements

  • Improved Pie Chart for Recommendation Breakdown
    The recommendation types (Idle, Downsize, Upsize, Modernize) are now clearly displayed with distinct colors and corresponding unit counts.
  • Summary Cards Highlight Estimated Savings
    Estimated monthly savings are now shown as individual cards by service type (e.g., EC2, RDS), helping users immediately identify high-potential cost-saving areas.
  • Enhanced Filtering and Layout Simplification
    Search filters and result tables are now more closely connected, reducing clicks and making it easier to find the resources you want to optimize.

OpsNow FinOps Launches Policy Management

OpsNow FinOps has officially launched Policy Management,
a new feature designed to strengthen governance, compliance, and operational visibility across cloud environments.

With this release, users can automatically audit cloud accounts,
identify policy violations, and receive automated reports for cost, security, and resource-based compliance issues.

  • Automated Compliance Reports
    Set policies across cost, resource, and security dimensions and generate organization-wide reports on policy adherence.
  • Violation Detection and Drill-Down
    Instantly identify non-compliant cloud resources, view violation details, and take corrective action.
  • Report History and Version Tracking
    Track historical reports in the History tab and download past versions as PDF files at any time.
  • Flexible Report Management
    Easily create, modify, and delete policy reports as your organizational needs evolve.
  • Email Delivery for Policy Reports
    Receive reports directly via email and access report summaries without needing to log in first.

Notes

  • Reports are automatically generated based on linked cloud account information.
  • If an account is removed or permissions change, the system will alert the user and maintain access to previous report history.

Azure Plan Type Now Supported for Azure Account Registration

You can now register Azure Plan type accounts in OpsNow Console. Previously, only Web Direct and EA (Enterprise Agreement) accounts were supported. With this update, we’ve expanded support to include Azure Plan to accommodate MSP customers and a broader range of Azure purchasing models.

  • New Supported Type: Azure Plan
  • Previous Types: Web Direct, EA
  • Now Supported: Web Direct, EA, Azure Plan

This improvement enables more flexible and comprehensive management of Azure accounts across different licensing channels.
