OpsNow FinOps: Official Launch of Tag Manager for Cloud Tag Governance

OpsNow FinOps Plus now supports a full-featured Tag Manager, enabling organizations to establish standardized tag governance across their cloud environments.
With this release, users can perform real-time tag status diagnostics, enforce tag policies, track all tag changes, and ultimately build a centralized and automated tag operations framework.

Key Features

  • Real-time Tag Status Diagnostics and Visualization
    Monitor your tagging hygiene at a glance using visual charts that classify resources by Properly tagged, Not Tagged, and Empty Value statuses.
  • Billing Tag Configuration
    In the Tag Policy menu, you can configure billing tags and define the allowed tag values.
  • Structured Tag Group & View Management
    Organize reusable tag sets by department, project, or region using Tag Groups, and analyze them across your organization using Tag Views.
  • Tag Change History and Audit Logging
    Every tag addition, update, or deletion is automatically logged, including the editor, timestamp, and success/failure status for audit readiness.
  • Bulk Editing with Table UI
    Use the Tag Explorer table to select multiple resources and apply tag edits efficiently, with inline controls for maximum usability.

  • Currently available for AWS environments only. Azure and GCP support will be added in future updates.

OpsNow FinOps Now Supports Budget Management

We are excited to announce the official release of the Budget Management feature in OpsNow FinOps,

With this release, users can now set budget targets and continuously compare them against actual and forecasted usage,
empowering teams to prevent overages and ensure financial control across cloud environments.

OpsNow FinOps Launches Policy Management

OpsNow FinOps has officially launched Policy Management,
a new feature designed to strengthen governance, compliance, and operational visibility across cloud environments.

With this release, users can automatically audit cloud accounts,
identify policy violations, and receive automated reports for cost, security, and resource-based compliance issues.

Key Features

  • Automated Compliance Reports
    Set policies across cost, resource, and security dimensions and generate organization-wide reports on policy adherence.
  • Violation Detection and Drill-Down
    Instantly identify non-compliant cloud resources, view violation details, and take corrective action.
  • Report History and Version Tracking
    Track historical reports in the History tab and download past versions as PDF files at any time.
  • Flexible Report Management
    Easily create, modify, and delete policy reports as your organizational needs evolve.
  • Email Delivery for Policy Reports
    Receive reports directly via email and access report summaries without needing to log in first.

  • Available for: All OpsNow FinOps users

Notes

  • Reports are automatically generated based on linked cloud account information.
  • If an account is removed or permissions change, the system will alert the user and maintain access to previous report history.
